During the Dive Against Debris® Diver Specialty course, you’ll learn how cleaning up plastics and ocean litter not only keeps your local dive sites in better shape, but also contributes to a global database documenting our planet’s marine litter problem. Under the guidance of your instructor, you’ll take part in a Dive Against Debris survey and turn your passion for the underwater world into concrete action. Join the PADI Torchbearer movement – divers who protect our ocean planet and make every dive count. Complete the Dive Against Debris online training course, then take part in a Dive Against Debris survey dive, during which you’ll collect marine debris underwater. After your dive, you’ll weigh, sort, record, dispose of and report your marine debris to the PADI AWARE Foundation™ database.
